So, my question last week was, has the Aspire Minican Pod System finally met its match? Last week I noticed one of our wholesalers offering a new pod system that goes by the name of the “Feelin Mini Pods By Nevoks”. The main thing that has blown me away about the Aspire Minican is the price! At only £13.99, I think it’s the cheapest pod system ever released. When I saw the Feelin Mini was the same price, within minutes they were in my basket and the next day I was unboxing one for myself.

First thoughts… A very sleek design with an almost rubber coating to finish off the look. The magnetic pod in the Feelin Mini Pods feels a lot more secure than the pods in the Minican. I myself have lost a fair number of pods, so the stronger magnets are a big bonus for me. It also comes with a very impressive 750mah battery which is charged via USB Type-C fast charging and is large enough to last me the majority of the day.

Once it was unboxed and the pod filled, I left it for half an hour or so before having my first puff and my first thought on the flavour was “this is no Minican”, the flavour tasted VERY bland. I then realised you can switch the pod to suit your vaping style! You can either have MTL (Mouth to Lung) or simply flip the pod for RDTL (Restrictive Direct to Lung) and once I flipped the pod to the MTL side, the flavour completely changed and it was then on par with the Minican.

So my verdict… is it as good as the Minican?

I’ve been using the Feelin Mini Pods for over 24 hours and so far I think it’s great. I wouldn’t say it’s any better or any worse than Aspire Minican. If I had to choose one to buy, it would purely be based on what I prefer the look of. One thing to bare in mind before deciding though, a lot of people like the ease of the minican and not having to change the coil, instead you just dispose of the pod when its finished with, with the Feelin Mini Pod you do have to change the coils.
